About Me

IMG_1199.jpeg

I’m a first-generation American using my unique life experiences and research to inform, uplift and promote the people around me. My interest in the space of cultural competence and diversity and inclusion was birthed out of movements like Black Lives Matter.

I’m an HBCU graduate and advocate with a doctorate in clinical psychology. My research focused on diversity training's in the workplace and their impact on non-minority participants. My hope is to continue to develop and become a leading consultant in corporate and psychological settings to ensure a safe environment for those who at many times are forgotten and undervalued.

I want to facilitate the difficult discussions that are often avoided, but give way to growth and understanding. I’d like to celebrate our differences and highlight that although we all have differences, they can be harnessed to build a strong foundation, one of which can elicit positive social change in various settings.
